Actually glasses are symmetrical and humans are drawn to symmetrical things and that’s why certain shapes or types of plants, etc, are more attractive to the human eye. Glasses, especially sunglasses, even out the face and make it appear more symmetrical.

SOMEONE FINALLY SAID IT

So if a teenager is at school for roughly 8 hours, and they are doing homework for 6+ hours, and they need AT LEAST 9 HOURS OF SLEEP FOR THEIR DEVELOPING BRAINS, then they may have 0-1 hours for other activities like eating, bathing, exercise, socializing (which is actually incredibly important for emotional, mental, and physical health, as well as the development of skills vital to their future career and having healthy romantic relationships among other things), religious activities, hobbies, extra curriculars, medical care of any kind, chores (also a skill/habit development thing and required by many parents), relaxation, and family time?  Not to mention that your parents may or may not pressure you to get a job, or you might need to get one for economic reasons.

I will never not reblog this

"…but teenagers have no reason to be stressed."

Now put that into college and add that we’re supposed to support ourselves on multiple part time jobs.

#FERGUSON protestor returns tear gas canister back to sender…

This is Amerikkka 2014

ICONIC

SPONSOR HIM

People so often use “iconic” to refer to things that are not iconic, but I feel like this picture really will be.

I said it before in a tag, but I think the American flag T-shirt is what’s going to make this the biggest image to come out of Ferguson. Few things make an impression like wearing a T-shirt with the flag of the land of the free and the home of the brave on it while you throw back a tear gas canister that the people who are supposed to be protecting you threw at you in the first place just for protesting.

I just wanted to reblog one more post about this with this picture because I felt it was important to let people know how the media is using it. I watched an ABC news report where they threw this picture up while explaining that the protesters retaliated with “Molotov cocktails” against the police when it’s clearly a tear gas canister being thrown BACK to the police who threw it in the first place, really frustrating.
